Small Blessings Yoga is founded on essential and powerful teachings and yogic technologies for women, from the tradition of Kundalini Yoga.

We offer foundational courses for all women on a range of themes which we consider to be essential knowledge and wisdom for daily life.

A woman is multiple, with many aspects to her, and she is a fluctuating, cycling being. This multiple, cycling nature can feel scattering, tiring and like an endless, multi-tasking juggle.. OR it can feel like bounty. Like richness and deep self-value. It can feel like a deep calm lake in the centre of yourself and a natural knowing of what to do, and what not to do, when.

This 10 week programme offered by Jai Ram runs Monday evenings 7 to 9pm at Palmyra Yoga Shala. The programme follows the Guru Gaitri mantra which has 8 limbs - 8 aspects of God as a woman. 8 aspects of being wholly and fully woman, with deep truths buried in each of these.
Much more than just yoga, each class involves teachings from Kundalini Yoga on one of the 8 aspects, Kundalini Yoga, relaxation and meditation. There will be homework offered for the week between classes - awareness exercises and small practices - and reflection and feedback in class. You will be invited to join a private Facebook group to share, be inspired and supported. A 40 day home practice (sadhana) is also a part of the programme, which you may wish to take part in.

Our aim is to create a safe, fun and loving space to learn, connect and grow in. To grow an uplifting community of mutually supportive women who share a valuing of the teachings and practices of Kundalini Yoga in their lives. This daily life is full, complex and sometimes challenging, so having an oasis to come to which nourishes your body, mind and soul is of immense value, so that we can not only survive but thrive, becoming the women that we want to be - for ourselves, for our close ones and for the community and planet at large.

No need to have previous experience with Kundalini Yoga. If you are pregnant or in the first postnatal year you can also attend. ANY woman can attend! This class is like the foundation course for all women, regardless of age or stage. Then you can also take Pregnancy Yoga or Mama Baba Yoga with Small Blessings Yoga for the special phase you are in.
